Town leaders led a team to inspect workplace safety at the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area.

As the 2024 Spring Festival approaches, in order to further strengthen workplace safety and meticulously implement preventive measures, thereby ensuring the safety and stability of tourism during the holiday period at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area, on the morning of February 5, Zhu Huaping, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Town Mayor, led a team to inspect safety production efforts at the scenic area. Zhang Chunmao, a member of the Town Party Committee, Wu Minfang, the Deputy Town Mayor, along with heads of relevant departments—including the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, the Market Supervision Sub‑bureau, and the tourism company—accompanied the inspection.

Zhu Huaping and his delegation conducted an on-site inspection of several scenic‑area attractions and the micro‑fire station, assessing workplace safety. They meticulously reviewed the implementation of safety precautions and compliance with relevant regulations, carefully listened to the enterprise’s report on its occupational safety efforts, and inquired in detail about event schedules and duty‑roster arrangements during the Spring Festival holiday.

Following the inspection, Zhu Huaping fully commended the safety production efforts at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area and underscored several key requirements: First, enhance safety awareness. It is imperative to clearly understand the situation, strengthen ideological awareness, assess potential risks and hazards, eliminate weaknesses and shortcomings, and resolutely safeguard the red line of workplace safety. Second, strengthen the implementation of responsibilities. Earnestly implement the principal responsibility of enterprises, establish and improve safety management systems, meticulously put preventive measures into practice, and resolutely safeguard the bottom line of workplace safety. Third, refine the emergency response plan. Further refine emergency response plans for workplace safety, strengthen fire‑fighting drills, enhance passenger flow management, and rigorously prevent incidents of congestion and stampedes, thereby firmly safeguarding the safety production front. Fourth, strengthen on-duty and standby arrangements. Strictly enforce the 24-hour on-duty and standby system, with leaders taking shifts; strengthen patrols and inspections to effectively enhance emergency response capabilities, ensuring that the scenic area maintains a sustained, stable, and improving safety record.
