Town leaders led a team to inspect workplace safety at the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area.

As the 2026 Dragon Boat Festival holiday approaches, in order to further strengthen all aspects of workplace safety at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area, ensure the smooth and orderly operation of tourism during the holiday, and sustain a stable and positive trend in workplace safety, on the morning of June 17, Zhou Zhifeng, a member of the Town Party Committee, led an inspection team to assess safety measures at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area. Accompanying him were officials from the Town Comprehensive Safety Office (including safety supervision and fire control), the Market Supervision Sub‑bureau, the Power Supply Station, the Construction and Management Office, Baosheng Community, the Culture and Tourism Group, and Lucheng Culture and Tourism. 
Zhou Zhifeng and his delegation conducted an on-site inspection of several key attractions within the ancient town scenic area, the cruise‑boat pier, the miniature fire station, mobile electric pump stations, restaurants and snack shops, as well as the Qingdian Luzhi cultural‑tourism project, to assess their workplace safety conditions. They carefully listened to reports on safety management from the cultural‑tourism group and the project’s responsible officials, and inquired in detail about activity schedules during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, on‑site management, visitor‑flow control, and duty‑roster arrangements. 
Following the inspection, Zhou Zhifeng fully commended the safety production efforts at the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area and put forward several requirements for holiday‑season safety assurance: First, we must elevate our perspective and implement all‑round preventive measures. Scenic areas must engage in systematic planning and meticulous deployment of holiday tourism safety production efforts, conduct comprehensive, all‑encompassing hazard inspections with no blind spots, and promptly implement closed‑loop management for addressing identified issues and risks. Second, we must refine emergency response plans and conduct frequent drills. Strengthen and solidify safety management responsibilities, refine and improve all types of emergency response plans, conduct regular fire drills, and effectively enhance the capacity to handle emergencies. Third, passenger flow must be strictly controlled, and sightseeing should be conducted in an orderly manner. Strictly enforce capacity limits during peak periods, strengthen on-site management, refine measures for passenger flow diversion and guidance, and make every effort to maintain orderly visitor operations. Fourth, we must remain at our posts and conduct routine patrols. Further strengthen the principal responsibility for safety, strictly enforce the on-duty and guard‑keeping system, intensify routine patrols and preventive measures, resolutely fortify the safety‑production safeguards, and effectively ensure the safe and stable operation of the scenic area during holiday periods.
