Strengthen exchanges and learning to promote common development.

To strengthen mutual learning and exchange among scenic areas, draw on each other’s successful practices, and jointly explore high-quality development models, on the morning of March 25, Chen Jianqing, a first‑level chief staff member of Guli Town, Changshu City, together with Wang Lijin, a member of the Party Committee, paid a study visit to the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area. They were accompanied by Zhou Lei, General Manager of Suzhou Luzhi Tourism Development Co., Ltd., for the inspection and exchange.

At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the organizational structure of the tourism company, the operational model of the scenic area, its current development status, the challenges and bottlenecks it faces, and its future directions. Drawing on the realities of the ancient town, they engaged in an in-depth discussion, focusing on advancing the integration of culture and tourism, upgrading business formats, transforming operational models, developing new products, attracting investment in related industries, establishing long-term management mechanisms, and balancing conservation with development.

Finally, Zhou Lei of Luzhi Tourism Company stated that Guli Town in Changshu and the ancient town of Luzhi enjoy distinct locational advantages and a favorable development environment, endowed with uniquely advantageous resources—particularly in terms of cultural heritage, historical assets,人文 landscapes, and product offerings. He expressed the hope that the two sides will strengthen exchanges and mutual learning going forward, especially in areas such as cultural‑tourism investment promotion, business‑format upgrading, asset utilization, visitor‑flow generation, operational models, and long‑term management, so as to learn from each other’s strengths and address their respective weaknesses, jointly advance development, and actively explore successful pathways for high‑quality growth of scenic areas.
