At present, the forsythia at Baosheng Temple has reached its peak bloom, with clusters of small yellow flowers exuding a quiet yet heartwarming charm, infusing the world with vitality and warmth.

Since time immemorial, the crabapple has been celebrated as the “immortal among flowers” and the “consort of beauty,” its delicate fragrance lingering softly as it unfurls in graceful splendor.

In ancient times, people planted crabapple blossoms alongside magnolias, peonies, and osmanthus in their gardens, symbolizing the auspicious meaning of “prosperity and nobility.” The graceful crabapple flowers complement the dark-tiled roofs and white walls of the Wang Tao Memorial Hall perfectly.

Stepping into Taoyuan, one is greeted by a springtime tableau: “Silken strands hang like emerald threads, while blossoms burst forth in hues of crimson.” The crabapple flowers bloom in staggered heights and overlapping tiers, their vibrant display all the more lively against the verdant foliage.
