Luzhi Tourism Company convened a working meeting on the election for the renewal of its trade union committee.

On July 14, Luzhi Tourism Company convened the first session of the third-term Members’ Congress of its trade union and carried out the election for the union’s leadership transition. The meeting elected the members of the company’s new trade union committee and its financial review committee.
The conference was chaired by Zhou Lei, General Manager of the tourism company and Party branch secretary, who also served as the executive chair. Forty union member representatives attended the meeting, which was also graced by the presence of Zhong Hailin and Guo Qingmin, vice chairpersons of the town’s trade union federation. During the session, Chairman Zhong read out the town trade union federation’s official reply approving the convening of the Third Members’ Congress of Suzhou Luzhi Tourism Development Co., Ltd., while Chairman Guo presented the report on the verification of delegates’ qualifications. Following deliberation and approval of key items—including the Election Rules, the list of candidates, and the proposed roster of staff members—the delegates cast their solemn and sacred votes by secret ballot on the spot, in accordance with the election procedures. After the vote count confirmed the validity of the election, the executive chair formally announced that Gu Hui, Wang Jianchang, Shi Hui, Sima Qingfang, and Gao Jianzhen had been elected to the new-term Trade Union Committee, while Shi Hui, Zhang Yan, and Chen Yue were elected to the Financial Review Committee. At the subsequent First Meeting of the Third Term of the Trade Union Committee, Comrade Gu Hui was elected Chairperson of the committee, and Comrade Shi Hui was appointed Director of the Financial Review Committee. In addition, the newly elected Trade Union Chairperson nominated the members of the new Women Workers’ Committee. At the conclusion of the meeting, Comrade Gu Hui delivered a statement, outlining her vision for advancing the union’s work in the future, based on the company’s specific circumstances, and addressing the attending members.
Finally, Zhou Lei, the company’s general manager and Party branch secretary, delivered a concluding address, outlining three specific requirements for the trade union’s work: first, to serve the overall interests and fully leverage the “four roles”; second, to grasp the distinctive characteristics and effectively carry out the “four key tasks”; and third, to be dedicated and selfless, upholding the “four spirits.”
