On March 8, Luzhi Tourism Company convened a meeting to advance the comprehensive environmental improvement and upgrading initiative, conveying and implementing the spirit of Luzhi Town’s special campaign on “Two Reductions, Six Treatments, and Three Upgrades.” The meeting was chaired by Zhou Lei, the company’s general manager, and attended by heads of all departments and external partner units.
At the meeting, General Manager Zhou first conveyed the spirit of the speech delivered by Secretary Yao Dong of the Town Party Committee at the town-wide conference on advancing comprehensive environmental improvement and upgrading, as well as the three key work requirements emphasized by Town Mayor Chen Julin. He then outlined the plan for the next phase of environmental remediation and enhancement in the scenic area: First, strengthen organizational leadership—each department must attach great importance to this effort and seize it as an opportunity to create a beautiful environment in preparation for the peak spring‑outing season. Second, enhance implementation—addressing existing issues in river water quality and road cleanliness, departments should promptly conduct self‑inspections and self‑corrections, formulate and implement corrective measures, intensify patrols, and ensure ongoing cleaning. Third, reinforce supervision and accountability—establish inspection teams and carry out comprehensive performance evaluations. By strengthening routine inspections and urging timely progress in rectification, we will ensure that the environmental improvement initiative yields tangible results.
