To comprehensively review the 2016 efforts in building a sound work style and enhancing efficiency, recognize exemplary models, and lay out plans for the coming year, Luzhi Tourism Company convened a work conference on improving work style and efficiency on February 13. The company’s leadership team, all members of the Party branch, management personnel at the team leader level and above, as well as representatives from external partner units—including the town’s property management company, Hengruida Property, and Wuchu Property—attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Document No. 7 of the Luwei Committee (2017) was first conveyed, and six individuals, including Xu Shuqing, were commended as “Outstanding Individuals in Town-wide Work Style and Efficiency Building.” Subsequently, heads of departments such as the Marketing Center, Logistics Department, and Travel Agency delivered statements, outlining their respective departments’ work plans for the coming year. The company’s three deputy general managers provided feedback on the work‑style development within their areas of responsibility and assigned tasks for the next phase.
Finally, Zhou Lei, the company’s general manager, delivered a concluding address on the 2016 efforts to strengthen work style and efficiency: Over the past year, the entire organization has focused on improving work style and boosting efficiency, deepened management and performance assessments, enhanced service quality, and promoted the steady and healthy development of the ancient town scenic area. He also outlined plans for the coming year’s work on work style and efficiency, emphasizing that 2017 will be designated as the Town-wide Year for Strengthening Work Style and Efficiency. All departments will further intensify these efforts to ensure the smooth advancement of key initiatives such as service and management, marketing, and transformation and upgrading. In addition, he set forth three specific requirements: First, prioritize addressing issues of accountability and execution capacity, and reinforce internal management; second, consolidate existing market share in the tourism sector while expanding into new markets; and third, build a comprehensive tourism framework for Luzhi and accelerate transformation and innovation.
