To effectively enhance marketing efforts at the Luzhi Scenic Area and promote the company’s steady economic growth, Luzhi Tourism Company convened its 2017 Economic Work Conference on March 28. The meeting was attended by the company’s leadership team, heads of all departments, and all marketing personnel, and was chaired by Wang Peinan, the company’s deputy general manager.
At the meeting, department heads first presented their marketing plans and market strategies for the new year, analyzing first-quarter market performance, existing challenges, and trends in per‑capita revenue growth. Following this, Vice President Gu Hui provided a detailed breakdown of the e‑commerce division’s targets, allocated sales assignments across various OTA platforms, and outlined priorities related to marketing channels, promotional tactics, and product development. Vice President Wang Peinan then offered a comprehensive interpretation of the company’s annual objectives, set clear financial performance benchmarks for each department, and disaggregated market‑specific targets by source region. He also laid out specific action items covering task implementation, scenic‑area initiatives, and cross‑functional coordination.
Finally, General Manager Zhou Lei delivered a concluding address, emphasizing the need to deepen our understanding of the importance of economic work, strengthen interdepartmental communication, and foster close collaboration. The marketing department was urged to strictly adhere to the regular meeting system, proactively explore partnerships between travel agencies and commercial complexes, and expand its business reach. Additionally, efforts should be made to establish industry‑wide exchange platforms, integrate resources across scenic spots, hotels, restaurants, and other sectors, and create synergies in the tourism industry. In addition, he put forward three key recommendations for boosting revenue generation: First, reinforce a sense of purpose and lead by example in striving for excellence. Maintain a strong drive for progress, and devise innovative strategies to capture market share around set objectives. Second, cultivate a culture of efficiency and take proactive action. Enhance both efficiency and execution—respond swiftly to market feedback, formulate measures promptly, and implement them with speed. Third, prioritize quality and set a benchmark for exceptional service. Strengthen our service mindset and continue to elevate the overall quality of our offerings.
