The Luzhi Tourism Party Branch convened a 2017 general meeting for democratic recommendation of prospective Party members.

In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Luzhi Town Party Committee regarding the work of developing party members, the Tourism Branch convened a general meeting of all party members on May 31 to democratically recommend candidates for the 2017 cohort of prospective party members. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Zhou Lei, the branch secretary.
According to the meeting agenda, Secretary Zhou first conveyed to all party members the Town Party Committee’s notice on recommending candidates for active membership in the Party, along with the relevant requirements, and provided an overview of the basic information of applicants who met the eligibility criteria. Subsequently, after the three applicants each presented their intentions to join the Party, their personal backgrounds, and their ideological and professional profiles, all members of the branch conducted a democratic recommendation in accordance with the principles of objectivity and impartiality, holding a secret ballot. Based on the number of votes received, they selected the candidates for active membership in the Tourism Branch for 2017.
Finally, the branch also convened a symposium with Party members and the general public to solicit broad feedback, and, following deliberation by the branch committee, submitted the finalized candidate list to the town Party committee.
