Leaders from the District Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau led an inspection of workplace safety at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area.

To further strengthen tourism safety during the National Day holiday, on the afternoon of September 24, Lyu Xiaohong, Deputy Director of the Wuzhong District Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism, led a team to conduct a safety production inspection at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area. Gu Hui, Chairman of the Luzhi Cultural and Tourism Group, along with other relevant officials, accompanied the inspection.
The inspection team conducted on-site visits to several scenic‑area attractions, the micro fire station, and the cruise‑ship pier to assess workplace safety. They listened carefully to a briefing from the scenic‑area management on safety‑production efforts and inquired in detail about the area’s National Day‑holiday activity schedule and on‑duty arrangements. At the cruise‑ship pier, Lü Xiaohong thoroughly reviewed the number and deployment of vessels, route planning, management and operations, the implementation of safety‑prevention measures, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Following the inspection, Lü Xiaohong expressed full approval of the safety production efforts at the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area and underscored several key requirements: First, strengthen ideological awareness. During the National Day holiday, visitor numbers have surged. Scenic areas must heighten their awareness, strengthen preventive measures, and implement crowd-control protocols at high‑density venues and key attractions such as nighttime cultural park performances. They should also ensure effective emergency evacuation plans are in place to safeguard public safety. Second, refine the emergency response plan. Scenic areas must strengthen organizational leadership, refine work plans and emergency response protocols, conduct regular fire‑safety drills, and effectively enhance their capacity to handle emergencies, thereby ensuring safe and orderly tourism during holiday periods. Third, we must enrich the substance of our activities. During the holiday period, scenic‑area activities should be tailored to visitors’ preferences, enhancing participation and interactive experiences, while strengthening on‑site management and rigorously implementing comprehensive safety measures to ensure that events are conducted safely, orderly, and to a high standard. Fourth, strengthen on-duty and standby arrangements. Scenic areas must earnestly fulfill their principal responsibilities, strictly enforce the 24-hour duty roster system, strengthen patrols and inspections, respond promptly to emergencies, and make every effort to ensure that workplace safety remains consistently stable and improves.
