As the 2025 New Year holiday approaches, in order to further strengthen workplace safety at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area, ensure the continued stability of safety conditions during the holiday period, and foster a safe, peaceful, and joyful festive atmosphere, the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area conducted a pre-holiday self-inspection of workplace safety on the afternoon of December 27.
The inspection team conducted on-site checks of key safety‑related areas, including several scenic attractions, the cruise‑boat pier, and various visitor facilities. The inspection focused on the structural integrity of attraction buildings, fire‑safety systems, electrical and water‑supply usage, and the condition of pier railings. Detailed examinations were carried out to assess roofing tiles and slates, wooden columns and beams, structural members, emergency lighting, fire‑escape routes, safety signage, water‑rescue equipment, and unauthorized or haphazard wiring. During the inspection, it was found that in some attractions, door thresholds and wooden columns were decayed and cracked, while at the cruise‑boat pier, railings were loose and partially rotted, posing potential safety hazards.
Following the inspection, the inspection team promptly notified the heads of the relevant departments, instructing them to immediately address all issues identified during the review to nip safety hazards in the bud. At the same time, they were directed to draw broader lessons from this experience, intensify routine patrols and inspections, meticulously implement preventive measures, and resolutely prevent the occurrence of accidents stemming from such hazards, thereby ensuring the continued stability and steady improvement of workplace safety within the scenic area.
