As the melodious chimes of the 2025 New Year’s Day bell rang out, we bid farewell to 2024—a year brimming with challenges and opportunities—though not without a touch of reluctance. For this New Year holiday, the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area has meticulously prepared an array of festive delights, creating a vibrant holiday atmosphere. Visitors have flocked to explore the ancient town, stroll through its historic streets, savor local delicacies, and admire its picturesque landscapes, all while basking in the enchanting charm of this Jiangnan water town during the holiday season.
Ahead of the holiday, the scenic area conducted safety‑production inspections, organizing staff to carry out self‑assessments of site facilities, fire‑safety equipment, boat docks, and the use of electricity and water. These efforts further reinforced safety awareness, enabled a comprehensive review and rectification of potential hazards, and ensured that no safety incidents occurred, thereby safeguarding the continued stability of the area’s safety‑production environment. During the holiday period, all personnel were on duty, with strict adherence to leadership‑led shift‑supervision; security and cleaning resources were bolstered, and patrols, inspections, and ongoing sanitation were intensified, ensuring optimal hygiene and orderly market conditions throughout the scenic area and fostering a safe, peaceful festive atmosphere.
During the holiday period, despite the slightly chilly weather, visitor enthusiasm remained undiminished. Whether traveling with family, in groups of friends, or accompanied by sisters, everyone reveled in the festive cheer and laughter. Throughout this New Year’s Day holiday, the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area maintained smooth, orderly operations and ensured safety and stability, with no tourism complaints or safety incidents reported. According to statistics, the site welcomed a total of 1,600 visitors during the holiday, generating direct revenue of RMB 25,200—up 1.25% and 1.04%, respectively, compared with the same period last year.
