Master of Fine Arts Zhang Sheng at the Luzhi Jiangnan Cultural Park

On January 23, within the Oriental Painting Academy of the Luzhi Jiangnan Cultural Park, Professor Zhang Sheng, a national first-class master of fine arts and head of the Department of Art at the Songtian College of Guangzhou University, wielded his brush to freely compose New Year couplets on the spot for visitors and local residents.
Every Spring Festival, hanging spring couplets has long been an age-old tradition of the Chinese nation. On that day, nearly a hundred local residents and tourists received spring couplets personally written by Professor Zhang Sheng. Meanwhile, several calligraphers from the China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Association voluntarily penned over six hundred more couplets for residents and visitors. They all agreed that this was a unique and cherished gift from the Luzhi Scenic Area.
This event was jointly organized by the China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Association, the Luzhi Town Federation of Trade Unions, and the Luzhi Tourism Development Company.
