Renowned calligraphers and painters from Jinling visit the Luzhi Jiangnan Cultural Park.-Luzhi Tourism_Luzhi Ancient Town 4A-level Tourist Scenic Area

On February 18, the event “Renowned Jinling Calligraphers and Painters Visit the Luzhi Jiangnan Cultural Park” was solemnly held at the Guanyi Building of the park. The two-day program featured a Chinese painting symposium chaired by Professor Zhang Sheng, President of the Oriental National Painting Academy. Wu Qiurong, Chairman of the Luzhi Town Trade Union, and Zhou Xuezhong, General Manager of the Luzhi Tourism Company, were invited to attend the opening ceremony.

Jiangnan Cultural Park is a classical garden in the Luzhi Scenic Area, embodying the distinctive charm of Jiangnan’s water towns. With the theme “A Living Fossil of an Ancient Town, a New Cultural Experience,” it brings together and showcases the town’s diverse, multifaceted, and multi‑layered cultural resources and unique cultural characteristics. Scattered throughout are culturally distinct museums and institutions, including the Luzhi Water‑Town Women’s Costume Museum, the Luzhi Historical Relics Museum, the Jiangnan Painting Academy, the Zhu Shouzhen Embroidery Museum, and the Oriental Painting Academy.

This Chinese traditional painting symposium has infused the Luzhi Jiangnan Cultural Park with a rich cultural ambiance.

Luzhi Tourism Company was awarded the “2010 Suzhou City Advanced Collective in Tourism Work” title.

On February 15, the first batch of guests for the “Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Wuzhong District: Ten Thousand People Watch Wuzhong” event arrived in Luzhi.
