The “2011 Fourth North China (Shijiazhuang) Tourism Fair” was solemnly inaugurated on March 18 at the Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Hall.
This trade fair was co-hosted by the Hebei Provincial Tourism Administration and the Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government, with the Shijiazhuang Municipal Tourism Administration serving as the organizer. It brought together tourism authorities and enterprises from nearly 20 provinces and regions, spanning a wide range of sectors including scenic spots, tourism development companies, travel agencies, tour wholesalers, and hotels. In addition to comprehensive and detailed informational materials, many exhibitors showcased their local tourism image and unique attractions through ethnic song-and-dance performances and other cultural presentations. Concurrently, a travel agency–tourism procurement networking event was held. Open not only to professionals such as travel agents but also free to the general public, the fair provided an opportunity for all to learn about and experience the region’s diverse offerings.
Luzhi Tourism Development Company participated in this four-day travel trade fair. The picturesque waterside charm and distinct Jiangnan character of Luzhi Ancient Town drew significant attention from northern visitors. At the exhibition, numerous local travel agencies expressed strong interest in collaborating with Luzhi’s scenic areas, and the景区’s promotional materials and posters were quickly snapped up by both travel agents and visiting attendees. Following the fair, the company’s marketing department visited several large-scale travel agencies in Shijiazhuang, holding discussions on specific arrangements for further cooperation and reaching preliminary agreements. With these efforts, the company successfully concluded its participation in the trade fair.
