The filming crew for the “Learning Talents in Suzhou” segment of the foreign‑language program has arrived in Luzhi to scout locations.

On March 16, the production crew of Suzhou TV’s “Home in Suzhou” special feature on Wuzhong, along with more than a dozen foreign residents living in Suzhou, visited the Luzhi Scenic Area to film a segment showcasing foreigners learning traditional Chinese arts and skills.

The film crew visited several attractions, including Baosheng Temple, the Shen Residence, the Xiao Residence, Wansheng Rice Mill, the Water Town Costume Museum, and the Historical Museum. Among their experiences, the foreign guests even took a small wooden boat to explore the narrow waterways of Luzhi, where they were deeply captivated by the town’s traditional dwellings with their white walls and dark-tiled roofs, its long covered walkways, and the Wu‑style folk songs sung by the boatwomen.

Finally, the film crew arrived at the Jiangnan Cultural Park, where foreign visitors watched and learned about the distinctive folk performance of “Da Lianxiang” in front of the ancient stage. The three foreigners even took to the stage for an impromptu showcase, earning rounds of applause from the onlookers.
