On March 19, renowned Chinese artist Mr. Yao Hua paid a visit to the Luzhi Scenic Area. He was accompanied by Chen Julin, a member of the Party Committee of the Luzhi Town People’s Government, as well as Zhou Xuezhong, General Manager of the Luzhi Tourism Development Company, and Deputy General Manager Xie Peihong.
Mr. Hou Yaohua visited the Luzhi Jiangnan Cultural Park, where he enjoyed captivating performances on the ancient stage—featuring the uniquely Jiangnan‑style Luzhi water‑town women’s costume show and folk acts such as the “Da Lianxiang” dance—which deeply impressed him. He also toured the Oriental Painting Academy, the Jiangnan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the Zhu Shouzhen Embroidery Museum, the Lianxin Bookstore, and the Luzhi Water‑Town Women’s Costume Museum, expressing keen interest in each of the park’s attractions and offering high praise for the picturesque setting of the ancient town of Luzhi.
