On March 21, a filming crew from CCTV-7 arrived at the Luzhi Scenic Area to shoot a three-day program highlighting the distinctive cuisine of Luzhi Ancient Town.
In Jiangnan, it is precisely the season when grass grows lush and warblers flit about. Within the ancient town of Luzhi, spring unfolds in all its splendor: verdant trees and vibrant blossoms, with river waters as blue as lapis lazuli, warmly welcoming visitors from every corner.
In the warm, blossoming days of March, it’s the perfect time to set out on a journey. This program on China Central Television will spotlight Luzhi’s signature delicacies and local farmhouse cuisine, underscoring its invaluable role in promoting Luzhi and boosting the town’s tourism sector.

The program’s production team focused on filming Luzhi radish dried goods, as well as local specialties such as qingtuan—evocatively named “green, red, white, and yellow”—along with Fuli pig’s trotters, sock‑bottom crisp pastries, cloud‑slice cakes, pumpkin cakes, and more. They also captured the region’s traditional home‑cooked dishes and conducted impromptu interviews on the ancient town’s old streets with tourists sampling the local cuisine.
