The main event marking the inaugural China Tourism Day was held yesterday morning in front of the Zhongwang Mansion on Dongbei Street in Suzhou. Attractions and renowned hotels from across the city took part in the celebration.
At around 10 a.m., the celebration kicked off with a lively, exuberant Latin dance performance, followed by a captivating soprano solo and a magic show.
Following the leader’s address, a series of events were held in succession, including the unveiling ceremonies for the “Party and Youth League Member Model Posts” and the “Tourism Product R&D Base,” the launch ceremony for the “Tourism Influencer Initiative,” the inauguration of the Tourism Standardization Working Committee, the launch of the “Explore Suzhou” dedicated tourism route, and an on-site tourism information session.
This time, the Luzhi Scenic Area was led by Wang Peinan, Assistant to the General Manager of the Marketing Department, with a team of six participating in the on-site tourism consultation event. At the venue, the scenic area had thoughtfully prepared an extensive array of colorful brochures introducing its attractions and a Wuzhong tourism map, which were warmly received by visitors. The staff also patiently addressed inquiries from residents and tourists alike, extending a warm welcome to friends from all over to come and explore Luzhi Ancient Town—the “First Town of China’s Water Villages.”
