On the afternoon of July 12, Lu Zhenhua, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, and Gu Hanming, Deputy Mayor, led a delegation—accompanied by relevant staff from the Town Investment Promotion Service Center—braving the sweltering heat to visit Xinri Xing, a key enterprise under the “Upgrading Thousands of Enterprises: Innovation and Transformation” initiative. They assessed the company’s operational status, addressed challenges hindering its development, and provided support to facilitate its transformation and upgrading.
Secretary Lu and his delegation engaged in cordial discussions with the leaders of Xinri Xing, listening to a briefing on the company’s current operations and its strategic direction for the future. Secretary Lu emphasized that, on the one hand, the enterprise must overcome the constraints imposed by the broader macro environment by scaling up, strengthening, refining, and perfecting its existing product lines, thereby enhancing its competitiveness and further expanding its market share. On the other hand, it should pursue innovation and explore new projects with strong growth potential. Secretary Lu also offered guidance on the company’s future development. He stressed that, in the face of a sluggish global economy, increasingly stringent domestic environmental protection and energy‑saving standards, and mounting labor shortages, the enterprise must be prepared to rise to the challenge. Only through transformation and upgrading, technological modernization, and greater adoption of automation and semi‑automation—thus shifting from labor‑intensive to technology‑intensive operations—can it secure a foothold in the fiercely competitive marketplace.
In response to the enterprise’s request for traffic improvements on Hongyun Road in front of the factory, Secretary Lu provided an immediate reply, instructing that the stone‑paved cement section of the bridge’s settlement‑compensation joint be promptly converted into an asphalt surface to enhance the company’s commuting conditions.
This outreach initiative underscores our town’s commitment to the “Thousand Enterprises Upgrade” program, strengthens the bond between government and businesses, and will help accelerate the realization of our town’s goals of “a second wave of entrepreneurship and industrial transformation and upgrading.”
