Zhou Xuebin, Mayor of Luzhi Town, led a delegation to visit key enterprises under the “Thousand Enterprises Upgrade” initiative.

On the morning of July 17, Town Mayor Zhou Xuebin and Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee Shi Qing, accompanied by relevant staff from the Town Investment Promotion Service Center, visited Hongquan Company and Changjin Chemical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.—both key enterprises under the “Thousand Enterprises Upgrade” initiative—to review their business operations and address the challenges they face in pursuing growth.

Mayor Zhou and his delegation held a cordial discussion with the head of Hongquan Company, listening to an overview of the company’s operations, the challenges it faces, and its plans for future development. Mayor Zhou stated that the government will continue to strengthen its efforts, refine its service system, and enhance the urban landscape, thereby fostering a favorable external environment for the company’s healthy and rapid growth and supporting its transformation and upgrading. He emphasized that enterprises should invest more in refining their development models, pursue technological upgrades, continuously innovate and transform, and proactively build their own brands to bolster their core competitiveness. He also urged the company to accelerate the development of the land along the airport road, make full use of the current favorable opportunities, adopt a well‑planned, high‑end positioning, and optimize its industrial structure to elevate its development to a new level. In response to the company’s inquiry regarding natural gas, Mayor Zhou assured that the government would facilitate communication and coordination between the enterprise and the natural gas supplier to ensure the smooth continuation of production and operations.

Subsequently, Mayor Zhou and his delegation visited Changjin Chemical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., where they briefed the company’s leadership on Luzhi Town’s future development prospects. They advised the enterprise to seize the opportunities presented by Luzhi Town’s emerging industries and new planning initiatives, and to optimize its asset structure—through mechanisms such as government buybacks—in order to achieve steady growth and expansion.

This outreach visit strengthened the ties between government and enterprises, underscoring Luzhi Town’s commitment to the “Upgrade of a Thousand Enterprises” initiative and its determination to implement the “Phase Out Secondary, Promote Tertiary” strategy.
