On the morning of January 30, the Luzhi Town Economic Work Commendation Conference was solemnly held in the government’s multi‑purpose hall. The event honored and rewarded enterprises that made outstanding contributions to the town’s economic development in 2012, and Lu Zhenhua, Secretary of the Luzhi Town Party Committee, delivered an important address.

The meeting began with Gu Hongjian, Mayor of Luzhi Town People’s Government, announcing the list of 36 enterprises recognized for their outstanding contributions to fiscal revenue, after which representatives from 15 of these companies took to the stage to receive their awards. Following this, representatives from Hehai Building Materials and Haotes Mould each delivered remarks.

Leveraging its unique resource endowments and addressing existing shortcomings, the town implemented a new round of urban‑industrial planning, embarking on a path of “second‑stage entrepreneurship and transformative innovation” that integrates industry and urban development, balances conservation with development, and strengthens both the people and the town. As a result, all areas of economic and social progress—particularly economic growth and urban development—reflected fresh thinking, presented a renewed image, and achieved notable accomplishments.
