On the morning of January 30, the Luzhi Town Economic Work Commendation Conference was solemnly held in the government’s multi‑purpose hall. The event honored and rewarded enterprises that made outstanding contributions to the town’s economic development in 2012, and Lu Zhenhua, Secretary of the Luzhi Town Party Committee, delivered an important address.
The meeting began with Gu Hongjian, Mayor of Luzhi Town People’s Government, announcing the list of 36 enterprises recognized for their outstanding contributions to fiscal revenue, after which representatives from 15 of these companies took to the stage to receive their awards. Following this, representatives from Hehai Building Materials and Haotes Mould each delivered remarks.
Finally, Secretary Lu Zhenhua of the Town Party Committee delivered an important address. Secretary Lu began by saying, “…”. Guided by strategic planning and integrated industrial–urban development, Luzhi has gotten off to a strong start in its “second entrepreneurial phase” of transformation and innovation. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all sectors, departments, and enterprises throughout the town for their innovation, creativity, and diligent efforts. Looking back on 2012, the entire town rallied around the district Party committee and government’s overarching development theme—“Welcoming the 18th National Congress and Striding Toward Modernization”—and aligned itself with Luzhi’s strategic positioning. Leveraging its unique resource endowments and addressing existing shortcomings, the town implemented a new round of urban‑industrial planning, embarking on a path of “second‑stage entrepreneurship and transformative innovation” that integrates industry and urban development, balances conservation with development, and strengthens both the people and the town. As a result, all areas of economic and social progress—particularly economic growth and urban development—reflected fresh thinking, presented a renewed image, and achieved notable accomplishments.
Secretary Lu once again used “ With earnest efforts and concerted progress, let us usher in a new era of glory for Luzhi’s “second entrepreneurial journey and transformative innovation.” “Encouraging the entire town to seize opportunities, bolster confidence, and press ahead with momentum, we must act proactively and energetically to propel Luzhi’s new phase of development—its ‘second entrepreneurial drive and transformative innovation’—to an even higher standard. Secretary Lu urged all residents and officials to embrace a spirit of pioneering excellence, striving to lead regional development; to demonstrate the boldness to undertake ambitious undertakings, aiming to become trailblazers in their respective industries; and to deliver efficient, high‑quality services, positioning ourselves as vanguards in driving progress. In 2013—the year when the momentum of ‘second entrepreneurship and transformative innovation’ was accelerated—Luzhi Town will, in line with its existing planning framework and development strategy, steadfastly implement…” Five major industries, five major zones, five key nodes, and 5A-level development The development strategy aims to achieve five major objectives: enhancing the quality and efficiency of the industrial economy, ensuring scientific and orderly urban development, delivering citizen‑centered and impartial social governance, fostering a green and livable ecological environment, and strengthening Party building to consolidate its foundations and bolster its capabilities—thereby ushering in another renaissance for Luzhi and enabling it to strive for higher rankings.
Secretary Lu called on the entire town to take advanced role models as examples, to approach their work with even greater enthusiasm and a more pragmatic style, to focus on both the present and the long term, to work diligently and down-to-earth, and to promote the coordinated and healthy development of Luzhi’s primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. He urged everyone to strive tirelessly for a brighter, more beautiful future for Luzhi.
