Luzhi Town Held the 2012 Information and Liaison Work Conference.

On February 6, Luzhi Town convened the 2012 Townwide Information and Liaison Work Conference in Meeting Room 308 of the Town Government. Information officers from more than 50 units and departments across the town attended the meeting. Chen Julin, a member of the Luzhi Town Party Committee, presided over the session and delivered instructions, while Assistant Town Mayor Yao Liang and Town Publicity Officer Zhang Ming respectively outlined and reported on the town’s information‑related work.

In 2012, under the sound leadership and strong support of the town Party Committee and the local government, the town’s information‑related work, bolstered by the development of an information liaison network, achieved rapid progress. An effective mechanism for coordinated communication between different levels was initially established, ushering in a new phase of smooth public opinion management. Comrade Zhang Ming, the town’s publicity officer, drawing on the distinctive features of the 2012 information‑reporting efforts, highlighted the new requirements for 2013—namely, timeliness, depth, balance, and accuracy—in submitting information. At the same time, he outlined a new approach to publicity and ideological work for the coming year: firmly anchoring itself in the guiding principles of the 18th National Congress, keeping pace with the times, fostering broad public participation, and placing greater emphasis on performance evaluation.

Subsequently, information officers from the Cultural and Sports Center and the Fuli Community, drawing on their respective work experiences, shared their insights and lessons learned in the process of reporting information.

Subsequently, Comrade Yao Liang, Assistant to the Town Mayor, drew on the 2012 information‑work report and insights shared by grassroots information officers to assign new tasks to all attendees: first, to heighten awareness of the importance of information reporting and firmly recognize it as a key tool for advancing priority initiatives; second, to strengthen the capacity to effectively carry out information‑reporting duties, diligently, attentively, and wholeheartedly improving one’s skills in writing such reports.

Finally, Chen Julin, a member of the Town Party Committee, issued further instructions to all information liaisons across the town. Comrade Chen pointed out that in 2012, Luzhi Town embarked on a new phase of development—“a second entrepreneurial drive and transformative innovation”—aimed at integrating industry with urban development, balancing conservation with development, and enhancing both the people’s prosperity and the town’s strength. As a result, remarkable progress has been made in all areas of economic and social development. In 2013, as Luzhi Town accelerated this path of “second entrepreneurship and transformative innovation,” initiatives such as the “five major industries, five major zones, five key nodes, and 5A‑level designation” were vigorously advanced. Consequently, the town’s information‑related work will face new demands: greater volume, higher quality, and faster efficiency. Comrade Chen encouraged all information liaisons throughout the town to remain grounded in their posts, actively engage in reporting, and comprehensively showcase Luzhi Town’s spirit of striving for advancement and taking the lead. He urged them to vividly embody the ethos of socialist spiritual civilization, further promote positive social values, and work tirelessly to make Luzhi an even more beautiful and prosperous place tomorrow.
