On March 23, the new‑year training course for information officers officially commenced at the Luozhi Town Party School. Veteran journalist Gu Xiangnan from Suzhou Radio and Television Station delivered the first engaging session to more than 50 information liaisons representing the town’s villages (communities), government departments, and town‑affiliated enterprises.
In his lecture, Teacher Gu Xiangnan centered on the theme of “information,” drawing on a journalist’s professional perspective, real‑world examples, and his many years of experience to provide information officers with a thorough overview of the requirements and techniques for identifying, collecting, and writing reports. He also offered hands‑on guidance on the diverse channels available for gathering information, yielding substantial benefits to the participants. Teacher Gu encouraged all information officers to continually sharpen their skills in identifying and vetting information, distinguishing fact from fiction and refining the essential from the superficial, so as to capture the most valuable insights.
The information officers participating in this training come from the front lines of Luzhi Town’s “second‑stage entrepreneurship and transformation‑driven innovation” initiative. While shouldering the critical responsibility of tackling tough challenges on the ground, they also carry the mission of documenting the town’s development trajectory, showcasing the entrepreneurial boom, capturing the vibrant spirit of Luzhi, and upholding social integrity. We are confident that these dedicated information liaisons will make even greater contributions to further establishing an effective, vertically integrated mechanism in Luzhi Town and to forging a new landscape of unimpeded public opinion.
Luzhi Town will continue to strengthen its team of information liaisons, enhancing their ability to identify, analyze, and communicate information through rigorous training and robust performance assessments. By motivating and guiding them to stay abreast of the times and lead the way, the town aims to collectively contribute to the beauty and prosperity of Luzhi.
