Luzhi Town Receives an Inspection of Its Beautiful Town Construction Efforts.

On the afternoon of October 14, Luzhi Town welcomed an inspection visit by the Suzhou Municipal Leading Group for Beautiful Town Construction. The inspection team comprised officials from departments responsible for urban management, sanitation, and law enforcement, and was led by Yao Along, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Municipal Urban Management Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau. Shen Xuehua, Deputy Director of the Wuzhong District Housing and Urban–Rural Development Bureau, and Wang Zonglin, Deputy Mayor of Luzhi Town Government, accompanied the delegation during the visit.
The inspection team first reviewed the progress of beautiful‑town development in Luzhi Town, visiting key thoroughfares such as Xiaoshi Road, Yingbin Road, Jichang Road, and Yucai Road. They focused their assessment on façade renovations along the streets, street‑level public art installations, parking‑space planning, and landscape‑maintenance efforts.
Subsequently, at the symposium, Deputy Town Mayor Wang Zonglin reported on the current progress of Lüzhí Town’s beautiful‑town construction, highlighting the interim achievements of each special‑rectification task force and outlining the objectives for the next phase. The inspection team expressed full recognition of Lüzhí Town’s ongoing efforts, noting that the town’s initiative was launched early and has been pursued with strong commitment, with clear divisions of responsibility and well‑defined timelines, positioning it to complete the environmental‑improvement phase on schedule and efficiently by year’s end. Meanwhile, focusing on parking秩序, unauthorized street vending, and environmental remediation, Secretary Yao put forward three key points: first, rigorously align all work with the technical standards set by the Beautiful‑Town Office; second, intensify efforts in priority areas such as main and secondary roads, schools, and markets, stepping up action on particularly challenging issues; and third, begin planning as soon as possible for the routine management of these areas after remediation, ensuring the long‑term sustainability of the gains made through the beautiful‑town construction program.
