Luzhi Town convened a meeting to advance the development of a beautiful town and the standardized management of construction sites under construction.

To standardize the management of construction sites and fully support the “Beautiful Town” initiative, Luzhi Town convened a town-wide meeting on December 28 to advance the standardized management of both the Beautiful Town project and ongoing construction sites. Attending the meeting were Town Mayor Gu Hongjian, Secretary of the Town Discipline Inspection Commission Wang Min, Deputy Mayors Hong Taosheng and Wang Zonglin, Vice Chairman of the Town People’s Congress Zhu Xuexin, along with representatives from the Chenghu Agricultural Park, the New District Management Committee, the Ancient Town Management Committee, and various administrative villages (communities), enterprises, public institutions, and relevant entities involved in construction projects.

At the meeting, the heads of five departments—the Village Construction Office, the Urban Management Brigade, the Safety Supervision Office, the Industrial Supervision Office, and the Labor Service Center—each outlined their respective plans for ensuring civilized construction practices, workplace safety, and the timely payment of wages to migrant workers on ongoing projects. Following this, representatives from all construction entities, contracting firms, and supervisory agencies across the town delivered statements expressing their commitment to these priorities.

Finally, Mayor Gu Hongjian emphasized three key requirements for strengthening standardized management of engineering projects: First, attach great importance to this issue and genuinely deepen understanding of the critical significance of standardized project management; second, pool resources and concerted efforts to steadily advance standardized management across all ongoing projects in the town; and third, reinforce leadership to ensure that standardized project management yields tangible results.
