Luzhi Tourism Company Held a Thematic Education Meeting on “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind”

In order to earnestly implement the spirit of higher-level documents and in accordance with the town-wide requirements for the “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind” thematic education campaign, the Party branch of Luzhi Tourism Company convened a thematic education meeting on the morning of October 29. Party members and department managers attended, with the meeting chaired by Gu Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party branch, and attended by Wang Xiaogang, the deputy secretary in charge of the town.
In accordance with the agenda, the meeting was divided into two phases. In the first phase, Wang Xiaogang, Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, delivered a special Party lecture to all members of the Tourism Party Branch. Drawing on the findings of earlier field research, he presented a report titled “Enriching the Cultural Essence of Tourism, Enhancing Scenic‑Area Quality, and Comprehensively Promoting High‑Quality Development of Luzhi Tourism,” and outlined specific requirements regarding annual performance assessments, internal management, tourism safety, and other areas of work.
In the second phase, following focused study of chapters from the “Outline for Studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,” the “Four Recalls and Four Revelations” activity was carried out. Party members Yuan Xueyuan and Zhao Lihui each revisited their original applications to join the Party; all party members donned their Party badges, stood before the bright red Party flag, and reaffirmed their入党 oath. Party member Luo Jianlin recounted his journey into the Party and shared the exemplary story of Gu Huorong, an employee of the cruise department, who bravely rescued a child who had fallen into the water. During the meeting, each party member solemnly reiterated their original aspirations and made firm commitments, while engaging in lively discussions around the questions: “What is our original aspiration? What is our mission? And what should we strive for?” Party members Cao Guangnuan and Zhang Rongfei also offered remarks and exchanges. In the subsequent “Three Listens and Two Questions” session for gathering feedback, opinions were collected from all party members via a questionnaire. Following the meeting, corrective measures will be formulated individually and made public. Finally, the branch leadership delivered a special Party lecture and organized a collective viewing of the micro‑animation series “Essentials of the Party Constitution from the 19th National Congress,” as well as documentary films such as “Zhao Yafu” and “32 Years on a Lonely Island.”
