On November 18, Luzhi Tourism Company convened a symposium on high-quality tourism development, attended by the company’s leadership team, heads of all departments, and all members of the marketing center.
At the meeting, General Manager Zhou Lei of the company first led everyone in studying the remarks delivered by Comrade Lan Shaomin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, during his inspection tour of Wuzhong District. Centered on the theme “Cultivating the finest natural and ecological environment, turning our natural endowments into economic advantages,” he shared his insights on how to adopt a “product‑manager” mindset to refine resource‑based offerings, enhance the competitiveness of cultural and tourism products, and develop more iconic tourist destinations. Next, the meeting conveyed the spirit of Minister Luo Shugang’s address at the 2019 National Conference on Promoting All‑Area Tourism, highlighting lessons learned in advancing all‑area tourism across key areas such as high‑level leadership, innovative mechanisms, scientific planning, quality supply, public services, policy support, and exemplary guidance. The session also outlined priority tasks and specific requirements for the next phase of this initiative. Following the study, a roundtable discussion was held, during which heads of various departments exchanged their reflections on the topics of departmental functions and scenic‑spot development, and each offered a statement expressing their commitment to implementation.
Finally, General Manager Zhou of the company delivered a concluding address, rallying the team for high‑quality development of the scenic area and outlining key requirements: First, we must thoroughly study and fully grasp the guiding principles issued by higher authorities, continuously reflect on how to integrate learning with practice, and apply what we have learned flexibly to our departmental work. Second, we must uphold an innovative mindset and accelerate transformation and upgrading across product development, marketing planning, and scenic‑area management. Third, we need to develop detailed work plans. Each department should, in light of its specific circumstances and job responsibilities, set a clear tone for its work and meticulously map out next year’s objectives, strategic approaches, and concrete measures.
