In accordance with the directives of higher authorities, and in order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, effectively carry out the branch’s winter training program, and genuinely enhance Party members’ ideological and theoretical understanding as well as their practical capabilities, the Luzhi Tourism Party Branch convened its 2019–2020 annual winter training conference on the morning of January 19.

Leaders of the tourism company’s management team, all Party members, heads and deputy heads of departments, prospective Party members, as well as the principals of Baosheng Temple and the two affiliated companies attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Hu Meizhen, Secretary of the Party branch. During the session, attendees watched the film “The Climbers.” Following this, Comrade Gu Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party branch, conveyed and briefed the participants on the spirit of the Fourth Session of the 16th Suzhou Municipal People’s Congress, the Ninth Plenary Session of the 12th Municipal Party Committee, and the citywide conference on embarking anew on the path of opening-up.

Subsequently, Comrade Hu Meizhen led the Party members in studying Document No. 1 of the Luzhi Town Committee (2020), “Opinions on Thoroughly Organizing and Carrying Out the Townwide Winter Training for Party Members for the 2019–2020 Period,” as well as the address delivered by Comrade Yao Dong, Secretary of the Luzhi Town Party Committee, at the townwide winter training conference for all Party members and cadres, and outlined the specific tasks and relevant requirements for the branch’s winter training program.

Finally, Comrade Zhou Lei, the company’s general manager, drew on the company’s actual circumstances to re‑mobilize and redeploy the next phase of winter training. He emphasized six key requirements for all Party members and cadres and outlined three priority tasks for the immediate future. First, we must elevate our ideological awareness, attach great importance to winter training, ensure that all activities are effectively implemented and yield tangible results. Second, we need to strengthen winter‑training study by conducting focused education and self‑study around six thematic areas, with Party members and cadres ensuring thorough communication and implementation within their respective departments. Third, we must innovate in our work—liberate our thinking, develop creative approaches, enhance collaborative capabilities, and reinforce execution. Fourth, we should foster a learning environment characterized by a sense of urgency, a spirit of emulation, and a willingness to strive for excellence, while remaining committed to dedication in our respective roles. Fifth, we must intensify the acquisition of skills and knowledge, accelerate knowledge updates, optimize our knowledge base, broaden our horizons, and keep pace with the times. Sixth, we must raise the level of management, pooling wisdom and strength to contribute meaningfully to the high‑quality development of Luzhi tourism.

Three priorities for the current period: First, heads of all departments must remain vigilant about safety and integrate it into all aspects of their daily work; second, proactively plan the “first incense” religious activities, strengthen organizational leadership, and ensure the safe and smooth conduct of these events; third, ensure adequate holiday on‑call and duty arrangements, and maintain unimpeded communication.
