On the afternoon of September 15, the tourism industry in Luzhi Town held a special safety‑production briefing at the tourism company, under the theme “Hundreds of Delegations Enter Millions of Enterprises and Tens of Millions of Employees.” The event aimed to further study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions and directives on workplace safety, encourage enterprises to better fulfill their safety‑production responsibilities, foster a nationwide culture of safety participation, and enhance public awareness and overall safety standards. The session was presented by Zhou Lei, general manager of the tourism company, and was attended by the company’s leadership team, department managers, the head of Baosheng Temple, as well as representatives from several local hotels, homestays, restaurants, and travel agencies, along with their respective safety management personnel.
At the meeting, Zhou Lei delivered a presentation focusing on three key areas: firmly establishing a strong awareness of safety production red lines; clarifying the principal responsibility of enterprises for workplace safety and explaining why this responsibility must be effectively fulfilled; and outlining practical measures for implementing that responsibility. His remarks combined theoretical insights with real-world case studies, and he used these cases to propose preventive and responsive strategies. Attendees listened attentively, took careful notes, and remained fully engaged throughout.
Finally, Zhou Lei emphasized the need to firmly establish a strong awareness of the red lines in workplace safety, fully recognizing that these red lines represent the “lifeline,” the “high‑voltage line,” and the “line of responsibility,” and must never be crossed or transgressed. He stressed the importance of attaching great significance to fundamental safety management, approaching all tasks with a sense of constant vigilance and accountability, and implementing related work to the highest standards and with the strictest discipline—ensuring it is thoroughly carried out, meticulously executed, and effectively managed—while resolutely upholding the “Three Controls, Three Musts” requirements. Furthermore, he underscored the necessity of earnestly fulfilling the principal responsibility for workplace safety, rigorously refining and enforcing preventive and responsive measures, and decisively preventing the occurrence of potential hazards and accidents. At the same time, he expressed hope that today’s briefing would deepen everyone’s understanding of the critical importance of workplace safety, as well as the Party Committee and government of Lüzhí Town’s strategic decisions and arrangements in this area, so that, working together in unity, we can successfully advance all aspects of workplace safety and ensure a steady and positive trend in the overall safety situation.
