On the morning of September 28, the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area held a work‑deployment meeting for the Mid‑Autumn and National Day holiday period. Leaders of the company’s management team, deputy heads and above from all departments, as well as the heads of Baosheng Temple, the Luzhi Property Management Visitor Center, and the two maintenance companies attended the meeting. Staff from the Marketing Center attended as observers. The meeting was chaired by Hu Meizhen, Secretary of the Party Branch.

At the meeting, heads of each department sequentially reported on their preparations for handling tourist arrivals during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays, as well as on matters requiring coordination and resolution by the company. Representatives from contracted service providers detailed their measures for holiday‑related security and reception, cleaning services, parking management, and other tasks, with relevant supervising leaders providing supplementary remarks.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the following documents: the Office of the Leading Group for the Inspection and Rectification of Safety Hazards in Existing Buildings in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, issued the “Notice on Strengthening Safety Management of Existing Buildings During the 2023 Mid-Autumn and National Day Holidays”; the Suzhou Emergency Management Bureau, in Document No. Su Yingji [2023] 230, issued the “Notice on Effectively Ensuring Emergency On‑Duty Arrangements During the Mid-Autumn and National Day Periods”; the Suzhou Work Safety Committee Office, in Document No. Su An Ban [2023] 128, circulated the Provincial Work Safety Committee Office’s “Reminder Letter on Strengthening Work Safety During the Hangzhou Asian Games”; and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism issued a “Reminder Letter on Traffic Management at Tourist Attractions During the Mid-Autumn and National Day Holidays.” In addition, the meeting outlined arrangements for related activities at scenic areas during the Mid-Autumn and National Day holiday periods.

Finally, General Manager Zhou Lei outlined the arrangements for holiday tourism reception and emphasized several key requirements: First, we must prioritize workplace safety. All departments must enhance their awareness, refine emergency response plans, strengthen passenger flow management, and intensify emergency drills to ensure the safety of both personnel and food. Second, we must strengthen order management and environmental hygiene. During the holiday period, passenger traffic is expected to surge. The two maintenance companies should intensify patrols and inspections, standardize order management, increase the frequency of mobile cleaning and waste removal, and ensure both market order and environmental hygiene within the scenic area. Third, we must ensure that the event is conducted safely and in an orderly manner. All departments should maintain a spirit of unity and collaboration, strengthen communication and coordination, and work together to meticulously plan holiday activities, ensuring their safe, orderly, and high-quality implementation. Fourth, complaints and disputes must be handled appropriately. When handling tourism-related complaints and disputes, observe proper etiquette, maintain professional conduct, and promptly mediate and resolve issues to prevent escalation that could trigger public scrutiny. Fifth, we must strengthen on-duty and guard duties. Strictly enforce the 24-hour on-duty and standby system to ensure unimpeded information flow, strengthen patrol and inspection activities, promptly respond to emergencies and handle unexpected incidents, and make every effort to safeguard workplace safety during the holiday tourism season.
