As the 2024 Spring Festival approaches, passenger flows are surging and the safety situation is becoming increasingly challenging. To effectively strengthen safety measures, ensure the safe and orderly reception of holiday tourists, and maintain a sustained stable safety record at scenic areas, Luzhi Tourism Company convened a work meeting on production safety on the afternoon of February 4. The company’s leadership team, heads and deputy heads of all departments, as well as the principals of Baosheng Temple, Lucheng Culture & Tourism, the Luzhi Visitor Center, and the two security companies, attended the meeting, which was chaired by Hu Meizhen, Secretary of the Party Branch.
At the meeting, heads of various departments each delivered brief reports on workplace safety during the Spring Festival period, followed by supplementary remarks from the relevant supervising leaders. Deputy General Manager Ma Liping outlined arrangements for scenic‑area activities during the holiday. The meeting also conveyed the spirit of the Fourth Session of the 13th People’s Congress of Luzhi Town and the Winter Training Conference for Party Members and Cadres held on January 31, as well as the Luzhi Town Work Conference on Workplace Safety and the expanded first‑quarter meeting of the Town Safety Committee, along with the February 4 meeting on security measures for the “first incense‑burning” ceremony in Luzhi Town.
Finally, General Manager Zhou Lei outlined the arrangements for workplace safety during the Spring Festival and emphasized several key requirements: First, implement the work requirements. All departments shall thoroughly study the spirit of the higher-level work conference on workplace safety, implement the relevant requirements, and promptly communicate them to every employee within their respective departments. Second, fully perform duties and responsibilities. Diligently implement the safety production responsibility system for all departments and positions, earnestly fulfill job duties, and ensure workplace safety, while also paying close attention to personal safety during commutes and throughout working hours. Third, refine the emergency response plan. Further refine emergency response plans for workplace safety, strengthen fire‑fighting drills, enhance passenger flow management and control, and rigorously prevent incidents of congestion and stampedes. Fourth, strengthen security safeguards. Deploy additional security personnel, strengthen crowd control, enhance on-site management, refine preventive measures, and effectively bolster safety safeguards for the “first incense‑burning” ritual. Fifth, strengthen on-duty and standby arrangements. Strictly enforce the 24-hour on-duty and standby system, implement leadership-led shifts, strengthen patrols and inspections, enhance emergency response capabilities, and make every effort to ensure that the scenic area’s work safety situation remains steadily stable and continues to improve.
