To comprehensively enhance the management and service standards of our town’s tourist attractions, on the afternoon of June 11, the Town Tourism Office convened a meeting to outline plans for upgrading the Luzhi Scenic Area. The meeting brought together heads of relevant units and departments, including the tourism company, Baosheng Temple, the Visitor Center, and the scenic area’s property management company. The meeting was chaired by Zhou Lei, Director of the Town Tourism Office and General Manager of the tourism company.
At the meeting, Director Zhou first conveyed important instructions on enhancing the environmental quality of tourist attractions. He then outlined further action plans, focusing on the 100-day campaign to improve service quality at A‑level tourist sites in Wuzhong District and the ambitious goals and tasks for a major overhaul of environmental sanitation in Luzhi Town. Director Zhou urged all member units to proactively take initiative, intensify efforts to upgrade the environment and facilities of the ancient town’s scenic area, comprehensively elevate both environmental standards and service levels, and thereby foster the healthy, sustainable development of tourism in Luzhi Ancient Town.
The meeting also presented the findings of the district tourism bureau’s third-party undercover inspection report for June, and each department subsequently delivered statements in response.
