The Luzhi Tourism Party Branch convened a special discussion meeting on “Reflecting on the ‘Wei Yan’ Spirit and Upholding Proper Family Traditions Among Party Members.”

To further advance the in-depth implementation of the “Two Studies, One Action” study and education campaign and to earnestly carry out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches, in accordance with the deployment requirements of the Town Party Committee’s “Two Studies, One Action” implementation plan, the Tourism Branch organized all its party members for a special discussion on the morning of September 25 titled “Reflecting on the ‘Wei Yan’ Spirit and Upholding Proper Family Traditions among Party Members.”
At the meeting, Zhou Lei, the branch secretary, first conveyed the Town Party Committee’s “Notice on Conducting a Special Discussion on ‘Understanding the ‘Wei Yan’ Spirit and Upholding Party Members’ Family Traditions,’” and then led all party members in studying such stories of family traditions and codes of conduct as Xi Jinping’s letter of birthday greetings to his father, Zhou Enlai’s Ten Family Rules, and the family‑style anecdotes of Mr. Ye Shengtao—examples drawn from the family ethos of earlier generations of revolutionaries and cultural luminaries. Following this, centering on the theme “How to Strengthen the Building of Party Members’ Family Traditions and Foster the Inheritance of Fine Family Rules and Precepts,” the attending party members engaged in a lively discussion, with several members offering remarks on the spot.
Finally, Secretary Zhou emphasized that all Party members of the branch should: first, give high priority to cultivating a sound family ethos and integrate the standards for qualified Party members into family life; second, establish clear family rules and foster an upright and exemplary family atmosphere, taking outstanding Party members as role models to educate their spouses, children, and those around them; and third, carry this positive family ethos into their work and into the ranks of Party members, guiding cadres and the general public to uphold integrity, promote a new spirit, and foster harmony, thereby making due contributions to developing ancient‑town tourism and building the town into a renowned cultural‑tourism destination.
