Luzhi Town convened a coordination meeting on holiday tourism work for the National Day Golden Week.

With the National Day Golden Week holiday approaching, in order to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of tourism throughout the town during this period and to create a clean, attractive, and pleasant environment for residents and visitors alike, Luzhi Town convened a coordination meeting on September 29th. The meeting was attended by representatives from 16 relevant departments and agencies, including the Ancient Town Management Committee, the Town Tourism Office (Tourism Company), the Market Supervision Bureau (Food Safety Office), the Public Security Bureau, the Traffic Police, the Traffic Management Department, the Urban Management Bureau, the Sanitation Department, and the Culture and Sports Center. The meeting was chaired by Wang Zonglin, a member of the Town Party Committee, Deputy Town Mayor, and Director of the Ancient Town Management Committee.
At the meeting, Zhou Lei, Director of the Town Tourism Office and General Manager of the tourism company, first reported on the preparatory work for the National Day reception at the Luzhi Scenic Area and outlined the task assignments for each department and unit during the holiday period. Each unit then made statements outlining its responsibilities in areas such as tourism order, vehicle management, environmental hygiene, and food safety. Following this, Jin Peigen, Deputy General Manager of the Chenghu Agricultural Park, presented the arrangements for the National Day reception at the Shui Baxian Cultural Park, emphasizing the need to ensure the smooth operation of all park facilities during the holiday, strengthen safety management, and enhance coordination with relevant government departments.
Finally, Committee Member Wang Zonglin delivered a concluding statement, outlining three key requirements for the town’s holiday tourism‑related reception efforts during the National Day Golden Week: First, elevate ideological awareness. All units must attach great importance to holiday tourism, recognizing that the town’s tourism sector operates as an integrated whole and that concerted, collaborative efforts are essential to ensure high‑quality service during this period. Second, strengthen coordination mechanisms. During the holiday, adequate staffing schedules and robust safety management must be in place; interdepartmental collaboration should be enhanced, communication and alignment streamlined, and emergency response measures promptly activated to address any unforeseen incidents. Third, advance long‑term, sustainable management. The Golden Week season should be leveraged as a valuable opportunity to assess and improve the quality of services at scenic areas. In light of the recent provincial bureau’s review and undercover inspection report, relevant improvement measures must be expedited, with ongoing efforts to institutionalize routine management practices.
