The Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area Conducts a Joint Safety Production Inspection.

With the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day approaching, in order to further strengthen holiday‑season tourism safety measures and ensure the continued stability of workplace safety at scenic areas, on the morning of September 12, Luzhi Tourism Company, together with the Town’s Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement and Work Safety Supervision Office (covering safety supervision, fire safety, and food safety) and the Market Supervision Sub‑bureau, conducted a joint pre‑holiday safety inspection.
The inspection team conducted on-site visits to several tourist piers, restaurants and guesthouses, as well as specialty‑food and snack shops within the ancient town scenic area. They meticulously examined fire‑safety facilities, food safety, honest business practices, and electrical‑use compliance, with particular focus on the adequacy of fire‑fighting equipment, the installation of safety signage, electrical safety, raw‑material procurement, the storage of bulk foods, the health management of staff, licensed operations, clearly marked pricing, and the implementation of the “gas‑to‑electricity” conversion.
During inspections, it was found that some retail outlets had expired health certificates for employees, unclear origins of raw materials, improper storage of bulk foods, lack of clearly marked prices on certain products, missing emergency evacuation signage, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders stored in kitchen areas, absence of inspection records for fire hydrants, and unconnected fire water towers—issues that pose potential safety hazards. Relevant enforcement officers combined inspections with training, providing on-site education on fire safety and food‑safety regulations, urging business owners to heighten their awareness, promptly implement corrective measures, and mandating completion of all rectifications within a specified timeframe.
Going forward, Luzhi Tourism Company will collaborate with the town’s relevant functional departments to conduct follow-up inspections on the issues and potential hazards identified during this round of checks, ensuring that businesses implement all necessary corrective measures. This will help establish a closed-loop management system, firmly strengthen the safety‑production safeguards, and fully safeguard the stability of the tourism market, thereby creating a safe and reassuring shopping environment for visitors.
