Luzhi Culture and Tourism Company Held a Work Deployment Meeting for the May Day Holiday

With the May Day holiday approaching, in order to ensure effective tourism services during the holiday period, Luzhi Culture and Tourism Company convened a work‑deployment meeting on the afternoon of April 28. The company’s entire leadership team, along with the heads of frontline departments and the two‑guarantee companies, attended the meeting, which was chaired by Chairman Gu Hui.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s “Notice on Conducting a Special Inspection of Work Safety in the District’s Cultural, Sports and Tourism Sectors.” Each department then reported on its preparations for holiday tourism and related events, as well as any issues requiring coordination and resolution by the company. Representatives from the Two‑Security Company and the Luzhi Property Management Visitor Center respectively outlined detailed measures concerning holiday tourism security and order, cleaning services, parking lot management, and other areas. The leadership team provided supplementary remarks on the preparedness of each department and assigned relevant tasks.

Finally, Gu Hui outlined the work plan for the May Day holiday and emphasized several key requirements: First, we must clearly understand the current situation and enhance our safety awareness. It is necessary to conduct a scientific assessment of tourist flows, meticulously implement all safety and preventive measures at scenic areas and attractions, refine relevant emergency response plans, and effectively ensure the safety of holiday tourism, thereby maintaining a sustained and steady improvement in workplace safety. Second, we must strengthen on-duty and standby arrangements and enhance emergency response capabilities. Relevant departments must strengthen 24-hour on-duty arrangements, fully perform their duties, closely monitor vulnerable areas, intensify patrols and inspections of scenic spots and attractions, enhance emergency response capabilities, and resolutely eliminate all safety hazards. Third, we must strengthen interdepartmental management and enhance public opinion risk prevention. Refine the daily morning‑meeting mechanism, ensure employees diligently fulfill their pre‑shift, in‑shift, and post‑shift responsibilities, focus on enhancing service attitudes and streamlining complaint‑handling procedures, and effectively mitigate risks of negative public sentiment. Fourth, we must strengthen interdepartmental collaboration and enhance the quality of services. During the holiday period, activities should be carefully coordinated and promoted; frontline departments must be well-versed in all relevant information to ensure smooth communication with visitors. At the same time, interdepartmental collaboration and on-site management must be strengthened to guarantee that holiday events are conducted safely and in an orderly manner. Fifth, we must strengthen personnel support to ensure environmental order. Security and cleaning staff have been reinforced, with increased mobile patrols and more frequent cleaning schedules, to ensure orderly operations and a clean, hygienic environment in the scenic area, thereby providing visitors with a safe and comfortable experience. At the same time, efforts to promote responsible tourism have been stepped up, encouraging visitors to conscientiously observe public order and maintain environmental hygiene, so as to jointly preserve the scenic area’s pristine surroundings.
