Zhu Huaping led a team to inspect workplace safety at the Ancient Town Scenic Area.

To further strengthen tourism safety during the May Day holiday at the scenic area, on the morning of April 29, Zhu Huaping, Mayor of Luzhi Town in Wuzhong District, led a team to inspect pre-holiday workplace safety measures at the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area.

The inspection team conducted an on-site review of the scenic area’s workplace safety, thoroughly examining the temporary control measures at Lüduan Square and Zhengyuan Road, as well as the functionality of fire-fighting facilities and equipment at the Baosheng Temple micro‑fire station and the Qingdian Luzhi Scenic Area. They also inquired in detail about the scenic area’s holiday‑season activity schedules, visitor‑flow management, and on‑duty arrangements.

Following the inspection, Zhu Huaping expressed full appreciation for the safety production efforts at the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area and underscored several key requirements: First, we must strengthen ideological awareness and enhance preventive measures. Scenic areas must meticulously plan holiday‑related workplace safety measures, conduct comprehensive safety inspections, and promptly address any identified hazards or deficiencies. Second, we must strengthen visitor flow management to enhance tour‑site order. During the holiday period, visitor numbers are expected to surge. Scenic areas must refine their emergency response plans, ensure robust safety measures for holiday tourism, and strictly manage visitor flows in accordance with the approved capacity of each attraction, thereby maintaining orderly operations in the holiday tourism market. Third, we must strengthen on-duty and standby arrangements and enhance emergency response capabilities. Scenic areas must earnestly fulfill their principal responsibilities, strengthen emergency management measures, strictly enforce duty‑and‑standby protocols, intensify patrols and inspections, effectively enhance their emergency response capabilities, and resolutely fortify the safety‑production defense line to ensure safe and stable tourism during holiday periods.
