Leaders from the Suzhou Quality Supervision Bureau visited Luzhi to provide guidance on the development of service standards for hand-rowed boats.

On July 5, Deputy Director Lao Weiliang of the Standardization Division of the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Deputy Director Tu Yiwen of the Wuzhong District Bureau of Quality Supervision, Deputy Director Xu Min of the Wuzhong District Tourism Bureau, and other senior officials visited Luzhi Tourism Company to provide guidance and inspect the development of service standards for hand-rowed boats, and convened a working meeting on cruise‑boat standardization on site.
Wu Qiurong, Chairman of the Luzhi Town Federation of Trade Unions, attended the meeting. Zhou Xuezhong, General Manager of the tourism company, presented an update on the efforts to standardize hand‑rowed boat services at the Luzhi Scenic Area. Deputy General Manager Xie Peihong and Shen Jusheng, Director of the Tour Boat Department, subsequently delivered a detailed report on the drafting progress of the “Standards for Facilities and Services of Hand‑Rowed Boats in Jiangnan Water Towns.”
Leaders from the municipal and district-level quality supervision bureaus, as well as the district tourism bureau, expressed satisfaction with the efforts to standardize the hand‑rowed boat service in Luzhi and offered high praise. They also provided timely responses to the difficulties and issues encountered by Luzhi Tourism Company during the standard‑drafting process. Finally, participants conducted a line‑by‑line analysis of the draft, pooling their collective expertise to ensure that the wording and presentation were precise and rigorous.
