On July 20, leaders including Yan Huixing, Deputy Director of the Urban District Division of the Suzhou Local Maritime Safety Administration; Wu Jianxin, Director of the Industrial Park Maritime Office; Xu Min, Deputy Director of the District Tourism Bureau; and Fan Chen, Director of the Quality Supervision Institute, visited Luzhi to provide guidance on the development of service standards for hand-rowed boats. Zhou Xuezhong, General Manager of Luzhi Tourism Company, and Xie Peihong, Deputy General Manager, delivered a special briefing.
The leaders offered specific guidance on the draft “Specifications for Hand‑Rowed Boat Facilities and Services in Ancient Towns of the Jiangnan Water Region,” stating that the maritime authorities will continue to engage regularly with the Luzhi Scenic Area to address relevant issues and exchange views in a timely manner. On behalf of the tourism company, General Manager Zhou expressed gratitude for the care and support of the higher‑level leadership.
