Luzhi Town Conducts a Comprehensive Safety Inspection of Religious Sites-Luzhi Tourism_Luzhi Ancient Town 4A-level Tourist Scenic Area

To effectively ensure the safety of religious venues throughout the town and maintain harmony and stability in the religious sphere, on August 6, Wu Qiurong, the town official in charge of ethnic and religious affairs and a member of the Town Party Committee, led heads of the Town Ethnic and Religious Affairs Office, the Safety Supervision Office, the Fire Department, and other relevant departments on a comprehensive safety inspection of the town’s major religious sites.

The inspection team conducted an in-depth review of religious venues within its jurisdiction, including Zhanglin Park, Qisha Yansheng Temple, the Lay Buddhists’ Association Hall, the Christian Church, and the Catholic Church, carrying out a comprehensive assessment of fire safety equipment, building conditions, emergency access routes, and the management of incense and candles. In response to safety issues identified during the inspection, the team issued clear recommendations for corrective action and mandated that each religious site complete the necessary improvements within a specified timeframe.

Former Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Wang Zhizhen, paid a visit to Luzhi to conduct research and provide guidance.
