On September 13, Wang Zhizhen, Vice Chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, conducted a field inspection and provided guidance on Luzhi’s economic and social development, accompanied by relevant leaders from the city, district, and town. The delegation visited the Shui Baxian Science Exhibition Hall at Chenghu Agricultural Park and the Shui Baxian Ecological and Cultural Park, toured the ancient town of Luzhi and Jiangsu Luzhi Middle School, and carried out an in-depth assessment of Luzhi’s progress in ecological agriculture, tourism and culture, and education.

At Luzhi Middle School in Jiangsu Province, Academician Wang engaged in warm interactions with the students and delivered an inspiring lecture titled “Realizing the Chinese Dream—What Should I Do? What Can I Do?” He encouraged the students to approach their studies with a sense of ownership and to grow up healthily, thereby contributing to the realization of the Chinese Dream.

A training workshop organized by the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau paid a visit to Luzhi for observation and training.
