The lush, verdant grass spreads out like a green carpet, while the towering ginkgo trees sway gently, their emerald leaves rustling in the summer breeze, as if one had stepped into the enchanting realm of The Wizard of Oz.
Beneath the trees, at the Qingfeng Pavilion, and beneath the Chuihong Bridge, emerald waters wind around, while crimson carp sway gently—more poetic and refined than the fabled realm of the Immortals.
Not far away, at the Shengsheng Farm, the crops thrive with vibrant vitality, while a scarecrow stands watch, safeguarding an enduring legacy.
Upon the verdant, jade-green lotus leaves, pristine white water lilies are gently cradled; as a gentle breeze sweeps by, their subtle fragrance wafts through the air, and one comes to grasp the elegant mood of “when the wind stills, the lotus in the pond exudes its own serene fragrance.”
Lotus blossoms are nestled amidst a lush expanse of greenery; look up to behold the picturesque garden with its tiered pavilions, and look down to discover the tender, romantic beauty of the lotus pond.
The second floor of the innermost hall was once the family’s living quarters; today, it serves as an exhibition space showcasing Xiao Fangfang’s upbringing and her work in film and television.
Push open the carved window on the second floor, and you’ll be treated to a sweeping view of the exquisitely crafted brick-carved gatehouse, the towering horse-head walls, and the endless expanse of dark-tiled roofs.
Brilliant lanterns light up in succession along both banks of the river, their crescent‑shaped reflections casting a glow upon the ancient stone bridges that span the waterway.
The shadowy, lantern-lit homes by the water are reflected on the river’s surface, blurring the line between the night sky and the water.
Bathed in the cool evening breeze, I stroll quietly through the long, winding alleyways, savoring the tranquil, unhurried pace of life in Luzhi.
