The Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area Conducts a Joint Safety Production Inspection.

With the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays approaching, in order to ensure the safety and stability of the holiday tourism market, on the afternoon of September 25, Luzhi Tourism Company, together with the Town’s Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau (covering safety supervision, fire safety, and food safety) and the Construction Bureau, conducted a joint pre-holiday inspection of workplace safety in the tourism sector.
The inspection team conducted on-site visits to several restaurants and snack shops within the ancient town scenic area, thoroughly examining safety conditions related to fire protection, food safety, electrical safety, and gas usage. The inspection focused on such aspects as the adequacy of fire-fighting equipment, the expiration dates of fire extinguishers, the presence of food business licenses, the shelf life of raw materials, proper food storage practices, the storage and use of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, the configuration of ventilation openings, and the installation of gas leak detectors.
During inspections, it was found that the majority of restaurants and snack shops are in full compliance with relevant regulations: they have equipped themselves with fire‑fighting facilities and equipment, conduct timely pressure checks and expiration‑date verifications on fire extinguishers, operate with valid licenses displayed, store raw and cooked foods separately, cover bulk‑packaged foods when stored, install residual‑current devices on electrical wiring, use separate storage areas for liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, provide adequate ventilation, and install smart networked gas‑leak detectors. However, a few establishments were observed to be using flexible hoses routed through walls, installing gas‑leak detectors in improper locations, or failing to replace damaged detectors in a timely manner.
Following the inspection, the official in charge of workplace safety at the scenic area notified the managers of the relevant hotels about the issues and potential hazards identified during the review, instructing them to implement corrective measures immediately and complete the remediation within the prescribed timeframe. The official emphasized the need to strengthen safety management, resolutely eliminate safety risks, and ensure a stable and improving workplace safety situation.
