As the New Year holiday approaches, in order to further strengthen workplace safety at the Luzhi Ancient Town scenic area, ensure the continued stability of tourism‑related safety during the holiday period, and foster a safe, peaceful, and joyful festive atmosphere, on the morning of December 28, Luzhi Tourism Company, together with the Town Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau (Food Safety), conducted a joint pre‑holiday inspection of food safety in the tourism sector.
The inspection team conducted on-site checks of several restaurants and food‑snack vendors within the ancient town scenic area, focusing on compliance with licensing requirements, transparent pricing, food storage practices, raw material procurement, and the health management of staff. During the inspection, it was found that some establishments had failed to display prices clearly and were serving bulk foods without proper covers. Enforcement officers combined enforcement with guidance, ordering the affected businesses to make immediate corrections and providing on‑site instruction, with a deadline for completing all necessary improvements.
Following the inspection, the scenic area organized staff to conduct self‑inspections of fire safety at selected attractions and at the micro‑fire stations, examining fire‑fighting equipment, electrical wiring, evacuation routes, emergency lighting, and other critical systems. These checks ensured that all fire‑safety facilities are in proper working order and that electrical safety management is fully in place. During the holiday period, the scenic area will also intensify patrols and inspections, strengthen on‑duty staffing, and proactively address potential safety hazards, thereby safeguarding the stability and positive momentum of the holiday tourism market and providing visitors with a safe and comfortable travel experience.
