In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Town Party Committee and the Town Government, the Party Branch of Luzhi Tourism Company held its April themed Party Day event on April 20. All members of the branch, prospective Party members, and Communist Youth League members attended, with the event chaired by Hu Meizhen, Secretary of the Party Branch.
At the meeting, Secretary Hu Meizhen first conveyed the spirit of the Party Town Committee and Government’s document titled “April Themed Party Day: Revisiting a Century of History to Build the ‘Most Beautiful Window.’” Following this, attendees watched the film “The Founding of a Party,” collectively reflecting on the Party’s glorious journey. The film chronicles the momentous upheavals from the 1911 Xinhai Revolution to the founding of the Communist Party of China in 1921, profoundly elucidating the inevitability of the CPC’s emergence as well as its ideological, class-based, and organizational foundations. It also comprehensively portrays the hardships endured by the Party’s pioneers in their quest for a path to national rejuvenation, and the fervent passion and lofty aspirations they displayed in the face of adversity. Over the course of two hours, the film enabled participants to experience the noble power of faith and the unwavering, selfless revolutionary spirit of those who came before them.
Following the film screening, Secretary Hu Meizhen emphasized that 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. At this pivotal moment, all Party members must deepen their understanding of Party history, further liberate their minds, embrace innovation and creativity, and strive to deliver outstanding results, thereby building Luzhi Tourism into its “most beautiful showcase” and presenting a remarkable achievement in celebration of the Party’s centenary.
Finally, Secretary Hu Meizhen conveyed the relevant notices regarding the prize‑winning essay contest and the historical‑materials collection campaign titled “Strengthening Our Faith, Keeping Our Hearts with the Party, and Ushering in a New Era Through Our Mission,” and assigned self‑study tasks on the “Study China” platform.
