This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. On the occasion of this centenary, the Leading Group for Party History Study and Education under the Luzhi Town Party Committee mobilized all departments and units across the town to launch the “Doing Practical Things for the People” campaign. In response to this call, the Party branch of the Tourism Company actively engaged, and after consultation and deliberation with the General Party Branch Committee of Hubang Village, formulated an action plan titled “Studying Party History with Dedication, Doing Practical Things with Sincerity.” Accordingly, on the morning of June 5, Comrade Hu Meizhen, Secretary of the Tourism Company’s Party branch, led a group of party members and volunteers to Hubang Village to carry out promotional activities.

During this event, vaccination campaigns, anti‑telecom fraud awareness initiatives, and waste‑sorting education were conducted in groups throughout Hubang Village. Party member volunteers joined forces with the village’s grid managers and officers from the Chefang Police Station to carry out these outreach efforts. The vaccination team provided villagers with detailed explanations of eligible groups and pre‑ and post‑vaccination precautions, addressing their concerns. Meanwhile, the anti‑telecom fraud team distributed informational leaflets, explaining the characteristics of such scams, common tactics, and effective prevention strategies, thereby enhancing villagers’ understanding and reinforcing the belief that telecom fraud can be prevented, fostering a community-wide culture of vigilance. The waste‑sorting team handed out educational brochures, using clear, easy‑to‑understand language to outline waste categories, the environmental hazards of improper disposal, and proper sorting methods, helping residents appreciate the benefits of proper waste management for public health and the environment. To boost participation and engagement, the tourism company’s Party branch also distributed small gifts and cultural‑creative products—such as Luzhi radish chips, compact mirrors, ginkgo‑leaf erasers, and pencils—winning widespread approval from the villagers.

Through this publicity campaign, villagers’ awareness of self‑protection and environmental stewardship, as well as their ability to recognize telecom and online fraud, have been effectively enhanced, yielding positive results. Moving forward, the Party branch of the tourism company will continue to collaborate with the Party General Branch of Hubang Village to carry out a series of enriching practical activities, ensuring that the outcomes of Party history education are genuinely applied to everyday work.
