The Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area held a work‑deployment meeting for the May Day holiday.

As the May Day holiday approaches, in order to ensure effective tourism services during the holiday period, the Luzhi Ancient Town Scenic Area held a work‑deployment meeting on the morning of April 28. The company’s leadership team, heads and deputy heads of all departments, as well as the principals of Baosheng Temple and the two security companies, attended the meeting, which was chaired by General Manager Zhou Lei.
The meeting reported on the results of the first round of stress testing for the “Ancient Town Jin Ye · Qingdian Lüzhí” digital nighttime tour and performance show held on April 27, analyzed the issues and shortcomings identified, and clarified the relevant work requirements. The meeting also conveyed the spirit of Document No. 23 [2024] issued by the General Office of the People’s Government of Wuzhong District, Suzhou, titled “Notice of the District Government Office on Issuing the Action Plan for a 100-Day Intensive Campaign to Improve and Upgrade the Environmental Landscape in Wuzhong District.”
Finally, General Manager Zhou Lei outlined arrangements for holiday tourism during the May Day holiday and emphasized several key requirements: First, safety is of paramount importance. All departments must thoroughly enhance their awareness, strengthen safety consciousness, meticulously implement preventive measures, and effectively carry out safety management tasks such as service and reception, thereby ensuring the safety and stability of holiday tourism. Second, enhance awareness and provide efficient services. Give high priority to addressing visitor inquiries and complaints; maintain a courteous and professional tone in interactions; provide clear explanations and guidance; consistently deliver efficient, warm service; handle related complaints appropriately; and firmly prevent any adverse public opinion. Third, strengthen organizational leadership to ensure order. It is necessary to coordinate and arrange activities at scenic areas during the holiday period, strengthen interdepartmental communication and collaboration, work in concert, and enhance on-site management to ensure that operations proceed safely and in an orderly manner. Fourth, ensure on-duty and standby arrangements and respond effectively to emergencies. Strictly enforce the 24-hour on-duty and standby system, resolutely implement leadership-led shifts, strengthen patrols and inspections, promptly identify potential risks and hazards, effectively enhance emergency response and incident‑handling capabilities, and make every effort to ensure that the scenic area’s work safety situation remains steadily stable and improves.
