On the morning of November 19, the Party branch of Luzhi Tourism Company held its November themed Party Day event. All party members, prospective party members, and active applicants for Party membership attended, with the event chaired by Hu Meizhen, secretary of the Party branch.

First, the attendees watched the video “Communiqué of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China” and studied the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session. Secretary Hu Meizhen emphasized that all Party members and cadres in the branch must earnestly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session, deeply remember the glorious course of the CPC’s century-long struggle, the tremendous sacrifices it has made, and the immense strength it has demonstrated, and always uphold the leadership of the Party, firmly establish the “Four Consciousnesses,” strengthen the “Two Confidences,” and ensure the “Two Safeguards.”

Subsequently, the branch committee convened a democratic nomination meeting for prospective Party members of the Tourism Company’s Party branch for the 2021 term. Secretary Hu Meizhen conveyed the spirit of the “Notice on Recommending and Submitting Prospective Party Members for 2021,” introduced the basic profiles of the applicants—Yang Qinqin, Lu Lijuan, and Zhao Qiuhong—who met the nomination criteria, and each applicant then presented their motivation for joining the Party, their personal background, and their ideological and professional circumstances. Finally, the members of the branch committee conducted a careful and solemn secret ballot and, based on the voting results, selected the candidates for the 2021 branch-level pool of prospective Party members.
