Luzhi Town Held a Meeting to Deploy the Registration and Filing of Tourist Homestays.

To further enhance the comprehensive registration of tourist homestays across Wuzhong District, establish and improve a long-term management mechanism, standardize procedures, streamline processes, and maximize convenience for residents while prioritizing public service, the town is committed to promoting law-based operations, integrity and civility, safety and order, and sound development of its tourist homestays. On the morning of June 14, Luzhi Town convened a meeting to deploy the registration work for tourist homestays. Zhang Chunmao, a member of the Town Party Committee, along with heads of relevant departments and units, as well as village and community officials, attended the meeting. The session was chaired by Zhou Lei, General Manager of the Tourism Company.

The meeting provided a detailed interpretation of the District Government Office’s Notice on the Implementation Opinions (Trial) for Promoting the Filing and Registration of Tourism‑related Homestays in Wuzhong District, and invited Gu YinFeng from the Tourism Division of the District Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau to deliver professional guidance. Participants engaged in discussions on the basic requirements for tourism homestay operations, including premises registration, fire safety, public security, public‑place hygiene, food safety, environmental protection, and standardized business practices.

Finally, Zhang Chunmao outlined the town’s plan for the registration and filing of tourist‑oriented homestays and emphasized several key requirements: First, attach great importance to this issue and clearly define responsibilities. All relevant units should intensify publicity and outreach, proactively provide support services, clearly define their respective responsibilities, promptly familiarize themselves with the relevant procedures, and advance the comprehensive registration of tourism‑related homestays across all areas. Second, adhere to standards and standardize procedures. All relevant entities must thoroughly master the applicable policies and standards, strengthen guidance on the establishment of homestays, standardize the filing and registration procedures, and promote the lawful and compliant operation of tourism‑related homestays. Third, ensure coordination and cooperation, and conduct rigorous reviews. Relevant functional departments shall proactively coordinate and collaborate, strengthen on-site inspections, rigorously review applications, and promote the high-quality development of the homestay industry in our town.
